Katy Cook
Provider Transformation Expert

Katy Cook is the owner a health care consulting firm based out of the Capital Region of New York State. Her consulting experience has primarily been telehealth focused, with several years spent working with New York School-Based Health Centers on expanding their telehealth offerings, as well as creating training content for the Northeast Telehealth Resource Center. Katy has experience in optimizing telehealth services for health systems and physician practices. She is focused on enabling the effective delivery of extraordinary care through workflow optimization and the smart use of technology.
Prior to going into consulting, Katy worked for Adirondack Health Institute (AHI) and the Adirondacks Accountable Care Organization (ACO), most recently as the Director of Partner Engagement. She still serves part-time in this role, supporting the development of strategies that foster provider and community-based organization engagement to enhance the regional network. She also spent 4.5 years as a state sponsored telehealth expert for AHI, where she managed the end-to-end development of multiple telehealth programs and service lines in health centers, hospitals, behavioral health organizations, home health agencies, and more around the North Country region.
Over the last 11+ years, Katy has served in various health care roles across New York State including the Healthcare Association of NYS (HANYS), Hudson Headwaters Health Network, and McKesson.
Outside of health care, Katy is passionate about helping people lead healthier lifestyles. She is a Level 2 CrossFit coach and holds multiple specialty certifications under the CrossFit umbrella. She is also a certified nutrition coach through Working Against Gravity and a Chronic Disease Self-Management Program Leader through the CDC and Stanford University.
